Old friends, new friends

Countless laughs (including 2 really good I can't breathe, tears in my eyes, gonna pee my pants, milk up your nose, how am I still driving kind of laughs!)

Pop Rocks, meerkats, hair blogs, cop dots, 1 giant box of lime Jell-o, 4 antenna balls, a dozen souvenir t-shirts, 2 Wicked Good cupcakes, and a Tony Hawk autographed skateboard!

I'd say this has been a pretty successful road trip!

On the drive home, I was able to enjoy lunch in Nashville and Oklahoma City with 2 friends whom I hadn't seen in a while.  I saw so much of this great country that I hadn't seen before.  We really are blessed to live in such a beautiful country, with the freedom to explore and enjoy and marvel at just a sample of God's glorious creations!

I don't know that I will ever have the opportunity to do this again, but I would love to if I can!  Every day was a new adventure, a new memory to cherish.  I am so grateful to so many!  Thanks to my two co-pilots, Barb (ABQ to SF to Dallas) and Cindi (Chicago to Boston).  We had so much fun, so many laughs, and I truly am blessed to have you as my friends!  I want to thank my dear friend, Barb (Sally Jean), who so graciously agreed to house sit for me.  This trip would not have even been possible without you!  I don't think I can ever repay you for all you've done around the house while I've been gone!!  Thanks, Sal!!  I love you more than you could imagine!!  Thanks to my family and friends for checking in with me along the way.  Hopefully you shared a laugh or a smile with me, too!  Above all, I want to thank God for blessing me throughout this incredible journey!  I often stared in awe at some of the most astonishing scenery along the way.  The places, the faces, the smiles, the laughter…all of it gives glory to Him!!  Hallelujah!!
